More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
This 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus plush stands out for its high-quality, ultrasoft material and unique Santa-themed Hawaiian shirt design. Compared to smaller options like the Micromallows advent calendars, this plush offers a more substantial cuddling experience, making it ideal for fans who want a holiday centerpiece or gift. However, its size and theme limit its appeal mainly to Santa enthusiasts or serious collectors, not casual plush fans. The plush’s plushness and official branding make it a reliable choice for holiday decor or gifts, though it might feel too specialized for those seeking a more versatile or playful plush. Overall, this pick is perfect for those who want a festive, collectible Santa plush to add to their holiday display or collection.
Pros:- Soft and plush for comfortable cuddling
- Unique Santa character with a fun Hawaiian twist
- Official Squishmallows product ensuring authenticity
Cons:- Limited appeal to fans of holiday or Santa-themed plush toys

Best for: Holiday collectors and Santa enthusiasts looking for a high-quality, sizable plush to display or gift.
Not ideal for: Casual plush toy buyers or children who prefer more playful, less themed stuffed animals.
- Size:14 inches

Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar includes 24 miniature 2.5-inch Micromallows, making it a festive way to count down to Christmas. Unlike the larger, more cuddly plush options like the 14-inch Santa, this set emphasizes collectible value, with each small plush representing holiday icons like Brooke the Polar Bear. Its compact size makes it perfect for display or gifting, but it offers less cuddling and tactile comfort than bigger plushes. The limited appeal to younger children or those seeking a plush for hugging makes it more suitable for collectors or holiday decorators. Still, it’s a fun, compact way to add daily surprises during the season, especially for dedicated Squishmallows fans who love collectibles.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed miniature plush toys
- Compact, easy to display or gift

Compared to the larger Nick Santa plush, this set delivers more variety and a playful range of characters, making it suitable for gifting multiple recipients or building a holiday-themed collection. The size is smaller, which may not satisfy those seeking plush for cuddling, but it’s perfect for young children or fans who want a quick, themed gift. Its exclusivity to Amazon and the 4-pack format might limit flexibility, but for buyers wanting a ready-made holiday gift set, this is a strong option. It balances quality with affordability and variety.
Pros:- Includes four distinct holiday characters
- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Official Jazwares product, exclusive to Amazon
Cons:- Limited to a small size, less cuddly

This advent calendar holds 24 tiny 2.5-inch Micromallows, including characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat, making it a delightful way to count down to Christmas. Unlike the larger plush like the Nick Santa, these small plush are more about collecting and daily surprise than cuddling. The compact size and holiday theme make it perfect for display or gifting, but it offers less tactile comfort for hugging. It’s a good fit for younger children or serious collectors who enjoy a daily holiday ritual. However, those seeking plush for snuggling or a more substantial gift may find these too small. Compared to the 24-day Micromallows advent calendar, this set emphasizes holiday cheer and collection over size and cuddles.

It offers a festive countdown experience with a variety of characters that appeal to collectors and holiday fans alike. Compared with the larger Nick Santa plush, this set emphasizes daily surprises over cuddling, making it more suitable for those interested in collection or holiday decor. Its small size means it’s less suitable for hugging or play, but it excels as a seasonal gift or display piece. The mix of Micromallows makes it a versatile gift for fans wanting a daily dose of holiday cheer, though it isn’t ideal for buyers seeking larger plushs for snuggling.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed tiny Micromallows
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Great for holiday countdown and gift-giving

Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This 4-pack stands out for offering a mix of holiday-themed characters, making it ideal for gifting or building a festive collection. Compared to the single plush options like Fleur the Yule Log, this set provides four distinct characters—Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Santa Bear, Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, and Luna the Penguin—each with their own personality and bio, adding collectible appeal. However, the lack of size details means you can’t gauge if they suit small hands or larger plush lovers. The plush material is ultrasoft, ensuring cozy cuddles, while the variety makes it perfect for holiday gift exchanges or stocking stuffers. The main tradeoff is that the characters are strictly holiday-themed, limiting year-round display. Ideal for families seeking a festive gift bundle, especially those who enjoy seasonal characters. Not ideal for those wanting plush toys with more versatility or non-seasonal use.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material for a cozy feel
- Includes four different characters for variety and collection
- Festive holiday-themed characters perfect for seasonal gifting
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters, reducing versatility
- No specific size info, making it hard to predict fit for small children

Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger plush toys or year-round characters for everyday decor.
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Ingred, Omar, Marilyn, Luna
Our verdict“This set is best for those wanting a colorful, festive plush collection to celebrate the holidays with family and friends.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur The Yule Log Plush
Fleur the Yule Log makes a strong impression as a compact, high-quality holiday plush. Its 8-inch size makes it more portable and ideal for smaller spaces compared to the larger Hedda the Milk for Santa, which offers a more cuddly presence. The plush’s soft, plush fabric ensures comfort, but its specific holiday Yule Log theme may limit use outside the season. The addition of a unique name and bio enhances its collectible appeal, making it a favorite among fans who appreciate detailed backstories. Compared with the 12-inch Hedda, Fleur’s smaller stature might be less satisfying for those seeking a larger cuddle buddy. The tradeoff is that Fleur’s holiday design may not suit year-round decor. Best for collectors who want a charming, smaller holiday plush with distinctive character. Not ideal for buyers looking for a larger, more huggable plush for everyday use.
Pros:- Soft, plush texture perfect for cuddling
- Unique name and bio add collectible value
- Compact size makes it easy to display or travel with
Cons:- Limited to 8-inch size, less impactful for hugability
- Seasonal design restricts year-round display
Best for: Collectible enthusiasts and fans of unique holiday-themed plush toys.

- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Theme:Holiday/Yule Log
Our verdict“Ideal for collectors wanting a charming, detailed holiday plush that fits on a shelf or desk.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda the Milk for Santa offers a 12-inch size, making her more substantial than Fleur and perfect for cuddling or holiday display. Compared to the smaller Fleur, Hedda’s larger form provides a more satisfying hug, appealing to those who want plush toys that serve as seasonal decor or bedtime companions. Her ultrasoft material ensures comfort, and the inclusion of a bio adds personality, making her a thoughtful gift. The main limitation is that Hedda’s size might be too bulky for small hands or limited space, and her holiday theme confines her to seasonal use. For collectors seeking larger plush or those who prefer a plush that doubles as decor, Hedda fits well. The tradeoff is that her size may be less portable for travel or everyday carry. Best suited for fans wanting a sizable, cozy Santa-themed plush for holiday cheer. Not ideal for buyers seeking compact plush or non-seasonal characters.
Pros:- Large, cuddly 12-inch size for hugging and display
- High-quality ultrasoft material for comfort
- Personality-filled bio enhances collectible appeal
Cons:- Size may be too bulky for small spaces or travel
- Holiday theme limits use outside the Christmas season

- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Hedda the Milk for Santa
Our verdict“A perfect choice for those who want a sizable, plush Santa-themed companion for the holidays.”
Squishmallows Original Harvest 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Amazon Exclusive)
This 4-pack offers a variety of harvest-themed characters, making it a versatile choice beyond just the holidays. Unlike Fleur or Hedda, which focus on specific seasonal designs, this set includes Ulana the Turkey, River the Blue Beaver, Rhett the French Bulldog, and Alberta the Maple Latte—each with distinct personalities and bios. The plush material is ultrasoft, ensuring cozy cuddles, and the exclusive Amazon bundle provides good value for those wanting multiple characters. However, the harvest theme might limit use outside the fall and holiday seasons, and the size of each plush is similar to the 8-inch Fleur, which may be small for some collectors or cuddle seekers. Compared to the holiday-specific sets, this one offers more year-round appeal but less seasonal flair. Best for collectors seeking a cozy, themed collection that extends beyond just Christmas. Not ideal for those specifically seeking holiday-only plush toys or larger sizes.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material for cuddling
- Includes four distinct characters with individual bios
- Exclusive Amazon bundle offers variety and value
Cons:- Harvest theme limits use outside the fall season
- Similar size to other small plush, less impact for larger cuddles
Best for: Fans wanting a versatile, harvest-themed plush set suitable for multiple seasons.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking holiday-exclusive plush toys or larger, more huggable options.
- Includes:4 plush characters
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Exclusive:Amazon
Our verdict“A versatile set ideal for those wanting plush characters with seasonal charm that can brighten any time of year.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
The 14-inch Holiday Fox combines size and softness, making it a standout for holiday decor or cuddling. Compared with Hedda the Milk for Santa, this plush offers more presence, perfect for filling a space or serving as a cuddly centerpiece. Its ultrasoft, high-quality material guarantees comfort, and the fox’s unique name and bio add a personal touch to its collectible appeal. The main consideration is the limited info on specific features or price, which may make it less appealing for those seeking detailed product data. Its size and festive design make it suitable for seasonal decor, but less so for everyday use outside the holidays. The tradeoff is that larger plush can be less portable or practical for small spaces. Best for those wanting a sizeable, cuddly holiday plush to enhance seasonal decor or gift-giving. Not ideal for those needing compact or multi-purpose plush toys.
Pros:- Large 14-inch size for a striking holiday display
- Ultra-soft, high-quality plush material
- Unique name and bio add personality and collectibility
Cons:- Limited info on features and specs, less transparency

Not ideal for: Buyers seeking smaller, portable plush for travel or daily use outside the season.
Our verdict“An excellent choice for those seeking a larger, plush holiday figure to brighten up any space during the season.”
How We Picked
In selecting the top Squishmallows holiday plushies, I prioritized factors that influence buyer satisfaction and value. This included evaluating plush quality, size options, festive design, and special features like advent calendars or exclusive packs. I also considered overall durability, ease of cleaning, and whether the plush fits different age groups. The ranking reflects a balance of aesthetic appeal and practical usability, with a slight edge given to items that serve as keepsakes or versatile gifts. Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right holiday Squishmallow involves more than just picking the cutest design. Consider your intended use—whether as a gift, collectible, or holiday decor—and how size, material, and features align with that purpose. Knowing what factors impact durability, value, and appeal can help you avoid common pitfalls like buying for the wrong age group or selecting plushies that won’t last beyond one season. The following sections highlight key considerations to keep in mind before making your purchase.Size and Display
Size is a major factor in how the plush will be enjoyed. Larger plushies, such as 14-inch figures, are better suited for display purposes or as centerpiece gifts, offering a substantial presence. Smaller options like Micromallows fit easily into stockings or as part of a holiday-themed arrangement. Think about where and how the plush will be used or displayed to determine the ideal size for your needs.
Design and Theme
Holiday-themed designs range from traditional Santa and reindeer to woodland creatures like foxes and logs. Consider the recipient’s taste and existing collection—whether they prefer classic Christmas motifs or more unique, whimsical characters. A well-themed plush adds to seasonal decor and can become a cherished part of holiday traditions.
Material and Durability
Most Squishmallows are made from soft, plush fabric designed for cuddling, but some are more durable than others. If the plush will be handled frequently or loved by children, look for models with reinforced stitching and high-quality fabric. For seasonal decorations or collectibles, durability may be less critical, but overall build quality still influences longevity.
Special Features and Packaging
Advent calendars and exclusive packs can add interactive or collectible value, making them excellent gifts for kids or fans. However, these often come at a higher price or limited availability. Consider whether the recipient appreciates an experience (like opening a new plush daily) or prefers a standalone figure. Packaging quality can also impact gift presentation, especially for premium options.
Price and Value
Budget ranges vary from affordable Micromallows to premium, limited-edition plushies. While higher-priced options tend to offer better detail and durability, many budget-friendly choices still provide festive charm. Balance your budget with how often the plush will be used or displayed, ensuring you get the best value for your money.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for all ages during the holidays?
Most Squishmallows are designed for children and adults alike, with safety standards that make them suitable for kids over 3 years old. Smaller plushies and advent calendars are generally safe for younger children, but always check specific age recommendations. For collectors or older fans, these plushies serve more as decorative or nostalgic items, making them versatile holiday gifts for a wide age range.
How do I choose between a plush and an advent calendar?
If the goal is interactive holiday fun, an advent calendar offers a daily surprise element that adds excitement for kids and families. Plush-only options are better suited for immediate gifting or display. Consider whether the recipient enjoys the anticipation of opening daily gifts or prefers a single, cuddly plush to enjoy throughout the season.
What is the best size for a holiday Squishmallow gift?
Medium to large sizes, such as 14 inches, work well as display pieces or main gifts, providing a substantial and cozy presence. Smaller plushies, like Micromallows, excel as stocking stuffers or collectibles. Selecting the right size depends on the recipient’s space, age, and whether the plush will be used or displayed.
Are limited edition Squishmallows worth the extra cost?
Limited editions often feature unique designs and higher detail, making them appealing to collectors or fans of special holiday themes. They tend to be more expensive and may sell out quickly, so if you value exclusivity or want a keepsake, investing in these can be worthwhile. However, for everyday use or casual gifting, standard plushies often offer better value.
How do I care for my holiday Squishmallow to keep it looking new?
Most Squishmallows are easy to clean—spot cleaning with a damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid machine washing unless specified on the label, as it can damage the plush. Storing them in a dry, cool place and avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can help preserve their color and softness over time, especially for display pieces.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall holiday Squishmallow, the Nick the Santa Claus Plush offers classic design, size, and versatility. Budget shoppers will appreciate the Micromallows Advent Calendar for its interactive value, while collectors and gift-givers looking for something special should consider limited editions or the Holiday Fox Plush. Beginners and casual fans might favor simpler, smaller plushies, while serious collectors will find premium options worth the investment. Tailor your choice based on how the plush will be used, the recipient’s preferences, and your budget to make the most satisfying holiday purchase.Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day Picks
